What is PEMF Therapy?

What Is PEMF Therapy and How Does It Work?

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a gentle, non-invasive wellness technology that helps your body heal and recharge on a cellular level. Using low-frequency magnetic waves, PEMF therapy “recharges” your cells so they can function more efficiently — helping reduce pain, inflammation, and fatigue naturally.

Our bodies are made up of tiny electrical cells that communicate through energy signals. When those signals get weak from stress, injury, or illness, healing can slow down. PEMF mats and devices send soothing electromagnetic pulses through your body to help restore balance and support your body’s natural repair processes.

Benefits of PEMF Therapy

Regular PEMF sessions may help with:

  • Cellular energy: Re-energizes your cells, improving their ability to produce ATP (your body’s natural energy source).

  • ❤️ Improved circulation: Helps blood vessels relax and expand, increasing oxygen and nutrient flow throughout the body.

  • 🌿 Pain and inflammation relief: Calms inflammation and discomfort from conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, or muscle soreness.

  • 💪 Faster healing and recovery: Supports bone, joint, and muscle repair after injuries, workouts, or surgery.

  • 😌 Stress reduction and better sleep: Many users notice deeper relaxation and improved sleep quality after consistent use.

What a PEMF Session Feels Like

During a PEMF treatment, you can simply lie on a mat or use a small pad over the area you want to focus on. The magnetic pulses gently move through the body — you won’t feel much sensation, just a sense of relaxation. Sessions usually last between 10 and 60 minutes and can be done safely in the comfort of your own home.

PEMF therapy is considered safe for most people and has minimal side effects, though those with pacemakers, metal implants, or who are pregnant should avoid it.

Sweet dreams are made of these!

Dream If you have trouble sleeping at night you're not alone.  For years I have tried almost every herbal and over the counter supplement, tea and elixir hoping for that magic uninterrupted bliss of 8 continuous hours of REM sleep to no avail...until...I found Anima Mundi Herbals.  Dream  was the first product I ordered and it finally happened!  I did lot of research on this  company and I discovered that the founder, Adriana Ayales was born and raised in Costa Rica and trained as a clinical herbalist.  After reading her book,  Adaptogens  I knew that she was the real deal.   Animi Mundi Herbals are organic, unadulterated and created with native traditions and ancient medicinal combinations.  I love this stuff and many other products cultivated by this company.  I know you will too!     Relax Relax  is a very nice elixir that you can put in your herbal tea to promote relaxation and support sleep as well....

Finding Relief for Sore Muscles

As a licensed Massage Therapist of 20 years, the repetitive motions of the work have taken its toll on my muscles and joints.  I experience pain and inflammation on a daily basis, especially during the cooler and damp seasons.  I recently purchased this Life Pro BioRemedy Infrared Sauna blanket in an effort to relieve some of those symptoms.  I can honestly say that it has helped tremendously!  I no longer sleep on a heating pad and as an added bonus, I sleep much sounder as well.  Infrared heat is different than a traditional heating pad, which only produces heat to the space around it.  Infrared heat produces heat from the light spectrum and penetrates your body in a more direct way.  Infrared heat is especially good for muscle relaxation, and it can help reduce stress while improving circulation throughout the body.   I started out with shorter sessions, 30 minutes max. and on the lowest setting which is 113 degrees F.  I am increasin...
